On Tony Parrille’s last official meeting as president of the Arcadia Rotary Club, he was accused of serious crimes against the city, bribery, wire fraud and general bad taste in ties. As music from “The Godfather” was played in the background, the trial began. The cast of characters included Judge John Wilson, court appointed defense attorney, Aaron Rose, prosecuting attorney, Dave Freeman, bail bondsman, Eric Barter, and witnesses Mike “The Terminator” Ojeda, Kathy Ellison, Terry Earll, Mike Real and last, but surely not least, Jim “Stormy” Rider. As it was to be expected, Tony was found guilty and was duly demoted.

Prior to the “trial,” Tony’s wife, Jean Parrille, was presented with a bouquet of flowers and thanked by the club for her support of Tony this past year and for her work as president of Rotary Partners.
