Ernie Jensen is celebrating a milestone birthday, “the 32^nd anniversary of his 28^th birthday” to quote the birthday boy himself.  Assisted by Jim Rider and the infamous “Rider Math”, that worked out to #51 and resulted in a recognition of $51.

 If you’ve been following the continuing saga of President Matt Weaver’s missing gavel, the gavel has been located and returned to its rightful owner.  The Finemasters charged President Matt $10 per week to rent Past President Imy’s gavel.  The rent, plus search and investigation fees, totaled $60 for the gavel’s safe return.

 The Finemasters thought they were going to recognize Butch Chinn for his recent fishing vacation in San Diego.  He volunteered the additional recognition opportunity of the new dog that has joined his family, bringing the recognitions to $50.

 Jim Helms and Ben Goland were recently honored by KTLA’s Stan Chambers as veterans of World War II.  This provided an excellent opportunity for the Finemasters to recognize them for $25 each, along with a heartfelt thank you for their service to our country.
