Substitute Finemaster and Vice President Ashley Andrews completed her rapid-fire session of recognitions in record time. Gathering in a wide group with her opening question of “Who left LA County between December 1, 2019 and January 9, 2020,” she narrowed the field first with “Who took a plane?” – Chris Haddow and several others caught this fine of $10. “Who traveled internationally?” only caught John Sun for $20.
Hsaio Chin Chen traveled to Texas during the holidays but for a fine based on number of pieces of jewelry sold didn’t make any sales. Not to be deterred, Finemaster Ashley recognized Hsaio for $20 anyway.
Another sales-based fine was aimed at Mike Hoey. “How many patients did you see since December 1, 2019?” His answer of approximately 60 was mathematically massaged and resulted in a fine of only $20.
Another wide group was gathered up who were wearing black, blue, and white. A number of Rotarians were fined $5 for their wardrobe including Ray Bushnell and Brian Hall. When red was added to the list, it was whittled down to Mike Real and several friends who were fined $10 each.
