The finemasters appeared for the first time in this New Year. Geoff Tookey called on Jim Helms to recognize him for being featured in the Arcadia Weekly as the Grand PooBah (Worshipful Master) of Arcadia Masonic Lodge. There, dressed in full regalia, and receiving a plaque honoring the lodge’s 125 years. He was fined $50.

Next up Dave McMonigle questioned Sho Tay if he had retained a Public Relations firm because of all the publicity he has been receiving? It seems that Sho is running for City Council and has a knack for getting in the news. Dave fined him $100 for all the attention.

Geoff then asked Ernie Jensen and Steve Garrett (both Past District Governors) to stand and be recognized for their Holiday events for the Service Club industry. Ernie sponsored an event for all the District 5300 Presidents to meet and greet RI President John Kenny. Steve Garrett sponsored an event featuring the presidents of the four major service organizations, Paul Palazzolo – Kiwanis International, John Kenny – Rotary International, Eberhard Wirfs – Lions International and Mark O. Shriver – Optimist International. Ernie and Steve were each fined $100 for their activities. Some people have all the fun!
