What is a zone? One of 34 areas worldwide that elects the Board of Directors of RI, made up of DG’s and PDG’s and future DG’s.

The Zone Institute is the annual assembly of these Rotarian leaders that create and forward the vision of Rotary.  Incoming DG’s are trained; the “best practices” within Rotary Districts are shared.  Zone 7B is New Zealand and a swathe of South Pacific Islands.

The Maori Carving Center Project will be presented in November at the Zone Institute in New Zealand prior to the grand opening slated for February 6, 2010.
