Hamlet Mbabazi, a Rotarian from the Buglobi Rotary Club in Kampala, Uganda will speak this Friday on “Africa’s paralyzed development and its lessons to the world”. Hamlet is no stranger to Rotarians of our Club or other clubs in District 5300, having helped and acted as a bridge in performing close to $500,000 in Rotary Foundation matching grants in Africa during the last 10 years. Hamlet came to our Club 9 years ago as he was finishing his PhD in theology at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena before returning to Uganda as a member of the Ugandan Parliament.
