A native of Rome, Italy, Albert D’Antonio first visited the United States in 1963. Drawn by the freedom to carve out his own future, he moved to the states and joined the American troops three years later. Coming from a background of law, Albert enrolled in UCLA in 1967 majoring in Business and Administration. After graduating he went on to become a banker at several businesses including Lloyds Bank, City National Bank, and Citizens Business Bank. During his professional history as a banker, Albert realized his passion for helping people in the community and learning about the businesses he encountered during his work day. This led him to him to go into Business Consulting from 1994-1998 where he helped businesses from a numbers standpoint.
Since 1998, Antonio has been a member of the San Gabriel Rotary Club and the Members Alliance Club. Being helpful and engaged in one’s community is something that Antonio values. Since his retirement from Citizens Business Bank in 2012, he enjoys playing golf, following basketball and politics, and spending time with his wife of 41 years.
