Step into the captivating life story of Rosie Mares, a trailblazer from East Los Angeles who defied the odds to become a pioneer in the escrow industry. Born and raised in a humble family, Rosie’s determination led her to be the first in her family to graduate from a university. Following her graduation, she embarked on a remarkable journey, starting her own firm, eventually becoming RMA Accounting Services, Inc., which now serves over 100 monthly escrow clients with her team of dedicated employees. Discover the courage, faith, and unwavering spirit that drove Rosie to success.

The greatest growth in Rosie and in RMA occurred after she joined the Rotary Club of Arcadia in November 2009. Her willingness to serve was met with acceptance and friendship by established members. The exposure to leadership training through the Rotary District and Rotary Leadership Institute has not only helped with her ever growing Rotary duties, but also spilled over to her business. In 2016-2017 she served as President of the Arcadia Rotary Club. It was during that tenure she became fully comfortable speaking in public, learning to adapt to changes and how to negotiate opposition. In 2017-2020 she was Assistant Governor, Group 4, District 5300 and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the Club Presidents of the Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Monrovia, and Duarte clubs. Rosie enjoys travel, especially to many Rotary International Conventions, each time amazed by the positivity and friendliness of Rotarians from around the world.

The conventions also highlight the many opportunities for service and involvement. In 2025 she will be attending the convention in Calgary, Canada. She hopes to see you there!
