Ed Beranek announced that the Rotary Foundation Dinner will be held on Jan. 2, 2016 at the Double Tree by Hilton in Ontario. If we can get 10 people to attend, we will be given a $500 grant. Please Contact Ed if you can go.

Thursday, Nov. 12th, will be a Time Capsule Opening at the Arcadia Chamber office, 388 Huntington Dr. According to Gil Stromsoe, the capsule was buried 50 years ago with instructions to be opened on this date. There will be an open house between 11 am and 2 pm and the capsule will be opened at noon. Special presentations will be made to our club, the Arcadia Lions Club, and the City of Arcadia. In addition to tours of the newly remodeled office, there will a showcase of drought-tolerant landscaping. Please contact Gil or the Chamber if you plan to attend.

Two Rotarians were presented Paul Harris plus 4 pins. They signify $5,000 in contributions to the Paul Harris Foundation. The recipients were Terry Earll and Rich Hutton.
