1. Monday, May 27, 2019, at 3 PM, will be the flag take down. We need all the help we can get. Contact Mike Real. If you have any old American flags that need to be retired, please bring them monday afternoon to the flag corner (Santa Anita and Huntington), and the Boy Scouts will take care of your flag.
  2. Proclamations: Ed Chau, California Assemblyman for our district, State Senator, Susan Rubio, and Mayor April Verlato all gave written proclamations of favor to the Arcadia  Rotary Club for the flag presentation.
  3. Progressive Dinner: Starting at Imy’s house at 5:30 PM, Saturday, June 1, 2019,  for cocktails and drawing names of where you will go for dinner and desert ( Dolphin’s, Harbicht’s, Stromsoe’s)
  4. Temple City School District – Oddyssy of the Mind.  Janette Johnson asked us to support this world championship competition. they have a Go fund me page at Temple City High School Odyssy of  the Mind.
  5. New Member LONGO  NGUYEN, proprietor of Matt Denny’s Restaurant, was inducted into the Arcadia Rotary Club.
  6. TEACHER OF THE YEAR: Ray Mynster and Frank Nunez were both named  Teacher of the Year for the Arcadia High School, by Dr. Brent Forsee, who mentioned some of their outstanding accomplishments for the school.
