1. Pres. Eric gave a special thanks to a number of people who helped make a great year. First, he thanked Sandra Caldero, our club administrator, for all that she does, including the president’s book that she put together. Frank Hall was thanked for being our program chair during the year. The committee that put on the Relay for Life was recognized for their great event last weekend, and a special thanks went to Yvonne Flint, Dr. Tom Miles, and George Fasching who donated the food for the barbecue.
2. There will be a Hawaiian Luau on July 6 at Papachino’s Restaurant, 14501 Ramona Blvd., Chino, CA 91710. The event will be from 5:30 to 9:30. Incoming Dist. Gov. Miles Petroff will say good bye to our Dist. Gov. Sylvia Whitlock. Cost is $20 per person.
3. Next Friday we will honor the fireman and police officer of the year.
4. Pres. Eric had Red Badgers Jeff Johnson and Eric Rail come to the podium. He presented them with their new Blue Badges.
5. A signup sheet will be passed around at our upcoming meetings for members to signup to be the greeter, give the invocation, flag salute or introductions at our weekly meetings for the months of June, July and August. Everyone is requested to sign up as your participation is greatly needed. This is a vital part of each of our club meetings.
