1.  President Pat announced that the next Board Meeting is Wednesday 08/08/2018 at 6:00 P.M. held at the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce located at 388 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91007.  Every member is welcome to attend.
  2.  Membership Chairman Jim Pontello announced that the first Membership Committee meeting was held on 07/27/2018 after the club meeting.  Among those attending the meeting were Jim Pontello,    Pat Barnes, Chin Chen, Phyllis Corliss, Brian Hall, and Aaron Rose.  President Pat announced that August is Rotary Membership Month and each member is encouraged to invite a friend to come to a club meeting as a prospective member.
  3.  Pasadena Rotary Club is hosting the “Taste of Pasadena” to be held on Thursday 08/16/2018 at the Maxwell House.   Gourmet food and wine will be served. The cost is $75/ticket.  If you are interested in attending this event, contact President Pat for further information.
  4.   President Pat announced that at the next club meeting on 08/10/2018 a number will be placed on each table, and when you arrive at the meeting, you will be given the number of the table where you are to sit.   This is to encourage each member to sit with other members of the club instead of just the ones you normally sit with.   This is to encourage you to get to know other club members.
