1.  This was Dave Didier’s last day at Arcadia Rotary as he is transferring to another branch of Citizens Business Bank.  We will miss you Dave and we wish you the best of everything.

2.  The club’s Board of Directors’ meeting will be Wed 08/15/12 at 6:00 p.m. at the Derby Restaurant.  Everyone is welcome.

3.  Arcadia Historical Museum Foundation is having a fund raiser for its new Education Center with  a Western Partyto be held on Sunday 08/26/12 at 5:30 p.m. on the site for the new Education Center locatged between the Arcadia Community Center and the Arcadia Historical Museum.  The cost is $90.00 per person which will be complete profit for the foundation.  Eric Barter announced that Arcadia Rotary has donated $5,000.00 to the foundation for the project.

4. Bob Harbicht announced that the club’s Progressive Dinner will be on 09/14/12.  Put that date on your calendar.  However, he said that he needs 6 more homes volunteered or the event may have to be canceled.  It is planned for 3 couples to go to each home for dinner to get better acquainted with fellow club members and their spouse or significant other.  Contact Bob if you are interested in volunteering your home for this great event.

5.  The Taste of Arcadia has been rescheduled for 09/24/10 to be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Arboretum.  Contact Bruce McCallum for tickets.  Ticket prices are $50.00 if bought in advance or $60.00 if bought at the door.

6.  The 2nd annual Golf Tournament for the Boys & Girls Club hosted by Post Alarm System will be held on 11/26/12 starting at 10:00 a.m. at Glendora County Club. Contact Bob Post for further details.
