1.  John  Davis announced that the Arcadia High School teams (rookies) won first and second place in the Business Plan Competition!

2.  Salute to Seniors will be held at noon Tuesday 05/12/2015 at the Arcadia Community Center.  Chairman George Fasching needs members to help set up beforehand, serve food at the event, and cleanup afterwards.  If you have any questions, contact George.

3.  Matt Weaver and Eric Rail reminded us of a return event of the Walk through LA on June 6, 2015. The event will be a fund-raiser at $50 per person.  The group will eat at a bar/restaurant afterwards and Matt will buy the beer?

4.  The Lucky Baldwin District San Gabriel Valley Council of the Boys Scouts of America is honoring our own Imy Dulake at their Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner to be held on Wednesday 05/27/2015 at the Courtyard by Marriott, 700 W. Huntington Drive, Monrovia, CA.  The Distinguished Citizen Award honors “prominent area leaders who have a wide influence in the business and professional community, while serving as exemplary role models for our young people”.  Jack McRae is the Dinner Chairman.  Frank Griffith and Bob Novell serve on the Committee and Lucia Bernal is Staff Advisor.  The cost for tickets purchased after 04/30/2015 is $100/ticket.  Reception is at 6:30 p.m. and dinner is at 7:00 p.m.  Anyone interested in attending should contact Jack McCrae.  The proceeds from the dinner will benefit the youth of the Lucky Baldwin District, San Gabriel Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America.

5.  The Special Olympics will be here soon, and on May 18, 2015,  the Derby restaurant is celebrating the athletes by contributing 20% of the price of the meals to the cause. Come join the cause.
