1. DISTRICT CONFERENCE AWARDS: Eric Barter announced the awards that were given to our club. Our Hospitality Suite won the Best Decoration award, thanks to Nikki Adams and Andrea Bundesmann who decorated the room in a football theme. Club Membership got the Outstanding award; Community Service – Exemplary; Vocational Service – Exemplary; and International Service, Exemplary for the Rotary Amigos and the Thailand Water Project.

2. 2011 RELAY FOR LIFE OF ARCADIA, SAT. JUNE 24, 11 AM: The event will be held at Santa Anita Park and will benefit the American Cancer Society. Mike Ojeda said the Relay for Life shirts are here and will cost $20. Contact Mike if you would like to buy one.

3. ARCADIA’S BEST PATRIOTIC PARADE, SATURDAY, JULY 2 AT 10 AM: Mary Salcido reminded us of this upcoming event and asked for 6 volunteers to work in a water booth. Please contact Mary if you are available.

4. CARNIVAL WEEKEND, FRI. JUNE 24 TO SUN. JUNE 26: Bob Hoffman announced that this Chamber of Commerce event will be held at Arcadia County Park.
