District 5300 is looking for facilitators for RYLA. The event will be held April 13 through 17 and they need an equal number of men and women. Please contact Mike Real or Teri Muse if you can help.
The Rotary Day at the Races is fast approaching. It will be held Mar. 3d and so far 50 tickets have been purchased with another 20 reserved. The $38 charge includes lunch at the Frontrunner, clubhouse admission, parking, program, tax and service charge. Please contact Jim Pontello who has the tickets. We have committed to 75 so we are getting close to that number.

Erich Rail presented the Students of the Month from Arcadia High. For Academics, Hanna Lee is the honoree. Her accomplishments include Editor-in-Chief, Yearbook; Senior Women’s President; Interact Club VP; and Constitution Team Treasurer. She hopes to attend Sanford and major in Molecular Biology. The Athlete of the Month is Jackson Stiles who plays Soccer, is a Section Leader in the marching band, President of Music Mentors, and is Treasurer of Senior Men and Women. Jackson is going to the U. of Chicago and will major in Geophysical Sciences. The third student, honored for Arts, is Charles Stevens. He stays busy with Senior Men and Women, Music Mentors, varsity soccer, and is the Bard President and Baritone Section Leader in the Marching Band. Charles hopes to attend either Westment or U. C. Davis, majoring in Psychology or Sociology.
