Pres. Pat announced a park cleanup project that will take place on Jan. 12. Brent Forsee, Community Director, is in the process of finding a park that needs our help. This is a Group 4 project, consisting of the Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, and Sierra Madre clubs. After the clean-up, the 4 clubs will meet for a picnic at 1 PM at the park that is adjacent to the Boys and Girls Club of the Foothills in Monrovia.
The Christmas Party at the Dolphins was a big success, and Pres. Pat thanked all who had contributed raffle prizes, and particular thanks to the Sweet Adolines choir and Ernie Jensen with his accordion, who provided our entertainment. The money raised from the raffle, $540, was given to the Katie Martinez Foundation.
Next Friday, Dec. 14, will be our Christmas Luncheon. Members are encouraged to invite their spouses for a holiday turkey lunch and entertainment provided by a trio of musicians.
