Mike Ojeda announced tht the 5K walk to combat Juvenile Diabetes will be held at Dodger Stadium on Sunday 11/08/09.  He is looking for donations.  Contact Mike if you are interested in donating to this worthy cause.

Jack Pan announced that Arcadia Rotary is sponsoring 100 kids to attend a day at Camp Trask on Saturday 12/12/2009.  He needs volunteers to help with this project.  Contact  Jack for further information.

Brad Miller announced that the memorial service for Sid Naness will be held at Temple Beth David on Longden in Temple City, CA, on Sunday 10/08/2009 at 2:00 P.M.

Past District Governor Ernie Jensen announced that there will be a dinner to honor the Rotary International President on 12/30/2009 who will be in town for the Rose Parade.  If you are interested in attending the dinner, contact Ernie for further information.

The Partners are hosting their annual Holiday Party on Sunday 12/16/2009 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the home of Mike Real.

Bruce McCallum announced that his grandson is suffering from the swine flu and he asked us to keep his grandson in our thoughts and prayers.  We wish Bruce’s grandson a speedy recovery.

The club’s Board of Director’s meeting will be held this Wednesday 11/11/2009 at 5:00 P.M. at the Arcadia Red Cross building, 376 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91007.  There will be no Board of Director’s meeting in December.
