• Our meeting next Friday, the 30th, will be our VIP luncheon, according to LAURA FREEDMAN. She wants to know about the number of guests who are coming so that an accurate count can be given to the hotel. If there are any last minute additions, please let Laura know as soon as possible.

• It was announced by JOHN FEE that the recipient of the District Foundation’s Citation of Meritorious Service was BOB NOVELL. Bob is the 24th recipient of this prestigious award, having completed three years as the Foundation Chair. He was responsible for the District’s funding of approximately $390,000 for various projects ranging from the installation of water systems to financial assistance to a community college in Uganda. Bob gave credit to many in the club who helped him with the numerous projects the District has undertaken during his three years.
