ROTARY PICNIC, AUG. 20. Eric Barter is organizing a picnic at the Burnt Beach Club at Lake Arrowhead. It will be a joint effort including the Pasadena, Monrovia, and the Arcadia Sunrise Club. Picnic will feature BBQ tri-tips, games for the kids, and much more.

SALUTE TO SENIORS, MAY 10. Mary Salcido is looking for volunteers to be at the Community Center to help set up at 11 AM and needs people to help with the cleanup after the program.
MASONIC SYMBOLISM EXPLAINED BY DR. DAVID GOFF, MAY 12, 6:30 PM. This event will feature a free spaghetti dinner and a chance to learn about Masonry, according to Jim Helms. It will be at the Arcadia Masonic Center, 50 West Duarte Rd., Arcadia.

DISTRICT CONFERENCE, JUNE 9 – 12, SAN DIEGO MARRIOTT, LA JOLLA. Ernie Jensen advised everyone who has not made reservations to do so, since time is running short and the District needs to know the number of attendees.
DISTRICT GOLF TOURNAMENT, JUNE 8. Ernie asked whether there was going to be a tournament at the conference and was told that there would be if he organized it. He agreed, and it is set for the Thursday before the conference at 1 PM. Golf will be at the Morgan Run Country Club, at $95 each. Please contact Ernie Jensen if you would like to play.
POT-O-GOLD RAISES $32,000 FOR CLUB ACTIVITIES! George Fasching thanked all on his committee for a very successful event. He also thanked those who provided the entertainment, in particular, Nikki Adams, who did a dance impression of Lady Gaga wearing a dress made with Coke cans! As usual, George put on a very entertaining and profitable program.
