1.  Mike Ojeda announced that the annual Cancer Relay for Life marathon will be held on Saturday 06/25/2011.  Tom Miles is the Team Captain and he will be taking signups in the next few weeks.  One of the perks is that there be a barbecue lunch for members and their family and friends who participate.

2.  Mike Ojeda further announced that Arcadia Rotary T-shirts will be sold at the meeting next Friday.

3,  Bob Harbicht announced that the club’s installation dinner will be held on Friday night 06/24/11 at Brookside Golf Course.  This is a special event, and you and your spouse or significant other are encouraged to attend as you have already paid for it as part of your dues.

4.  School superintendent Joel Shawn requested that everyone with a facebook account sign in, go to Community Giving and vote for money to be given to the Arcadia Education Fund.  There is no cost to you.   If Arcadia Education Fund receives the most votes on facebook, it will receive a sizeable amount of cash which is desperately needed due to the budget crunch.  If you have any questions, contact Joel Shawn.
