1.  Rosie Mares announced that the annual JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes will be held on 10/27/2013.  She asked for the support of all club members.  Check your email for the announcement she sent to every member.  The goal is to raise $3,500 from the club.

2.  Bruce McCallum nnounced that Tase of Arcadia will be held on 09/23/13 and the club can buy tickets for $35 ($70 at the door).

3.  Aaron Rose said  that volunteers are needed to help set up for Taste of Arcadia during  the day of  09/23/2013, the day of the event.  Contact Aaron for more details.

4.  Membership Chairman Aaron Rose said the club’s goal is to induct 30 new members.  He encouraged everyone to invite prospective members to the club meetings.

5.  Jim Helms invited everyone to attend a program on “Who is a Mason” to be held at Arcadia Masonic Center, 50 W. Duarte Road, Arcadia, Ca 91007 on Thursday 09/26/2013.   The doors open at 6:30 p.m. There will be a free spaghetti dinner and the program starts at 7:00 p.m.

6.  Jack McRae announced that District 5300 is having a Rotary Walk for Polio.  Shirts for the walk are on sale for $10.  He will send a clip board around at upcoming meetings for everyone to sign up for to buy a shirt.
