1.  Teri Muse’s mother is on hospice and needs all of our thoughts and prayers.

2.  Arcadia Day at the Races scheduled for 03/13/2015 has been canceled due to Santa Anita Race Track’s failure to offer the terms which they had provided for us in the past.  We will be meeting at Embassy Suites on that date.

3.  The club’s social event at Magic Castle will be on Sunday 03/22/2015.  Those signed up should plan on meeting at Magic Castle at 5:20 p.m.  Please note that there is a mandatory dress code at Magic Castle, which is coat and tie for men and evening attire for women.

4.  The annual club fundraiser will be a Monte Carlo Night on Saturday 04/18/2015, at the Arcadia Community Center.  More details to come.

5.  The club’s annual Salute to Seniors will be on Tuesday 05/12/2015 to be held at the Arcadia Community Center at noon.  More details to come.

6.  Everyone is asked to support the club’s fundraiser for Special Olympics by eating out at BJ’s Restaurant on Tuesday 03/10/2015.  The restaurant will donate 1/2 of your bill to Special Olympics.

7.  San Marino Rotary announced that they are supporting the “United for Vet’s” project to construct a medical clinic for veterans on the Pasadena City College campus.  PCC has given land on the campus for the clinic for $1.  They have received a federal grant for the construction of the clinic, and they are seeking outside contributions for the balance, including contributions from Rotarians and the club’s foundation.  Everyone is asked to contribute to this worthy cause. 

8.  Former member Adam Throop is battling cancer at the City of Hope and he needs all of our thoughts and prayers at this time.

9.  It was announced that the club meeting on 03/20/2015 will not be at Embassy Suites but will be at Matt Dennys.
