Finemaster Ken Chan called on all club Past Presidents in attendance to stand.  Of the group, only Ray Bushnell was wearing a Rotary pin; the others were subject to a fine.  PDG John Fee decided the fine would be $25 each.  The unlucky bunch were:  Mike Hoey, Pat Barnes, Brad Miller (Welcome back, Brad!  We’ve missed you!), Imy Dulake, Dick Martinez, Mike Ojeda, Bob Harbicht, Frank Griffith, and Mike Real.

Jim Pontello was fined $50 for his upcoming trip to Italy.  He will be traveling with his son and daughter to visit his first cousin.

Another trip is on the horizon for Aaron Rose.  His trip is to Nanjing via Shanghai and even though it is a work trip, he still had to match Jim’s fine of $25.

Our Songmaster, Dan Place, belongs to a singing group called “Masters of Harmony.”  His group will be performing two concerts in December, one in Long Beach and the other in Ontario.  Dan decided that since he was going to pay a fine anyway, he may as well invite us all to buy tickets to one of the concerts. His fine was $50 and you can purchase tickets online at mastersofharmony.org.

Continuing the musical note, Chris Haddow’s band, Route 66, has been promoted the past two weeks in club announcements for their show on October 19 at Route 66 Roadhouse in Duarte.  With a fine to match Dan’s at $50, Chris would like us all to come and enjoy the show.
