Imy Dulake, who ran the meeting today, gave an update on Dan Bayer’s condition. He is still in the hospital but expects to go home in two weeks. He told Imy several jokes so he hasn’t lost his sense of humor!

Mary Salcido, Membership Chair, thanked all who have brought guests to the meetings, and encouraged us to keep up the good work.

Tony Parelli brought our attention to a blank card at everyone’s place. He is asking for program suggestions for the next Rotary year. Tony recognized Frank Hall for all that he has done this year in his capacity as Program Chair. If you didn’t get a chance to fill out the card, please contact Tony with any suggestions.

Andy Bundesmann reminded us of the showing of G.I. Joe II on Wed., April 10, at the Kerkorian Theater in Monrovia. We will get together at the Cafe O before the showing. Please contact Andy if you plan to attend. Imy’s cousin is one of the stars in the movie.

Dick Martinez had photos of the Rotary Amigos working on our project at the girls’ orphanage in Tijuana. He thanked everyone involved for a very successful project, and said that our partner, the Tijuana Rotary, had as many people as we had. He gave a special thanks to Tom Crosby who managed the building of the shade structure.
