(For those of you wondering about Al’s Laghab’s holiday presentation…)

I intended to do a little comedy and did not understand that I was expected to talk about Christmas traditions in Iran.  I decided to echo the Iranian Ambassador’s political view (none of which I agree with).  I tried to pretend to be the Iranian Ambassador. It was supposed to be a comedy which did not come out funny.

All of you who know me should be aware that I am a Persian Christian and do not share the Iranian Government’s political view.  I am sorry if I was not able to deliver it right.

After the meeting some people were wondering about my political views.  They have not changed. I promote peace. I am an American. I pledge my loyalty only to this country and its values.
