Past President Rich Hutton, returning to the podium to fill in for an absent Imy, recognized Dan Bayer for his upcoming birthday. Dan disclosed that he was going to dinner with friends but would not disclose the gender of those friends. Jim Helms stood out-of-order to recognize Dong Chang for his outstanding performance in the Imy Dulake demotion. Rich fined Jim $25.
He then turned to Frank Hall who he would be roasting at a retirement party later that night. Referring to Frank as a good friend and Trojan, Rich described Frank as “Bakersfield Fats” a reference to his pool playing abilities. Rich fined him $100 for his retirement. Rich then turned to this year’s Finemasters, Dave and Geoff. He demonstrated his loyalty to the club, fining each $100 for their actions this year “doing their jobs”
Dave McMonigle took the podium and promptly fined the NCAA $10,000 for their treatment of his beloved Trojans. He then pointed out that the finemasters were operating without a contract since Imy had already been demoted. Laura Freedman started to disagree and was fined $25.
Geoff then called on Dan Bayer to recognize him as the club’s mast esteemed ladies’ man and fined him $50 for not coming clean about his birthday. He then fined Esma $25 for omitting Dan when awarding the club’s best looking father award to John Fee.
Then Stig Hedlund wanted to say something to the club and was quickly fined $50 by Dave for inappropriately approaching the podium. Finally, Geoff recognized Keith Brown—who is never at a loss for words—for his participation in the Cravens Golf Tournament. Fined $50
Out of control fining marking the end of another year.
